BATTLE of the BANDS

The Search is ON... for GARDO's BATTLE of the BANDs....

It's Your Time to SHINE....

GARDO's Diner & Gimmick Bar is Launching it's 1st BATTLE of the BANDs.

Mechanics as follows:

1. Open to all amateur Bands, atleast 4-5 band members (maybe all MALE or all FEMALE or combination)
2. Age 18-25 years old.
3. Pre-qualification required. Those qualified will be notified for the scheduling of jig and competition night.
4. 3 completing bands will play every Friday & Saturday Nights.
5. Bands are required to render: 1 Original Composition , 1 Slow & 1 Up-beat songs.
6. Only 3 Band Finalist will be competing in our grand concert night on Dec 21, Friday.
7. Winning Band will receive cash prizes, gift certificates & will be the featured band @ GARDO's for the whole month of January 2009. Other additional prizes will be announced as we go along with the competition nights.

How to join:

1. No Registration FEE required.
2. Fill-up forms and submit to our supervisor on duty along with band profile and photos.
3. Registration is from Nov 11- 25, contest starts Nov 30.
   

Different personalities from the semicon industry will be our judges.

Awarding of Best Performers will be every 3rd Saturday of the Month and the Grand Champion will have the opportunity to perform in our Christmas Extravanganza Concert.

Gardo's Diner and Gimmick Bar Grand Opening Day will be on Oct 10, 2008, Friday.

We are inviting all of you to come and enjoy.

This great dining experience will start from 10am until 12 midnight.

Lunch time, savor our luscious meal while watching great movies thru our LCD TV. Relax & enjoy listening to music w/ our soothing audio system. A fully-air conditioned room and relaxing ambiance will complete every meal over at Gardo's.

Be entertained by 90 Grams Band as they offer acoustic songs. Jam with the band and sing to your heart's content. Show-off the artist in you.
